Universal App Updater Pro operates almost entirely on your local device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers.
- Local System Data: The App scans your local machine to determine hardware specifications, installed software, and driver versions. This data is used solely within the App to provide you with optimization, updating, and cleanup services. This data never leaves your computer.
- Subscription and Payment Data: If you choose to upgrade to our Pro subscription, your payment and subscription data is securely handled entirely by the Microsoft Store. We do not have access to your credit card information, billing address, or name. We only receive an anonymous validation token from Microsoft to verify your active subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because we do not collect your personal data, we do not use it for marketing, tracking, or profiling. The local data processed by the App is used strictly for:
- Providing real-time system performance metrics (CPU, RAM, Disk).
- Identifying and downloading appropriate software and driver updates directly from official vendor sources.
- Executing local system cleanups.
3. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the Microsoft Store for secure processing of your subscription and the Microsoft Store API to function. Please refer to Microsoft's Privacy Statement for more information on how Microsoft handles your data.
Additionally, the App's "Privacy Guard" feature is designed to prevent third-party telemetry and tracking built into the Windows Operating System, giving you more control over your data.
4. Data Retention
All temporary files or caches generated by Universal App Updater Pro during its operation are stored locally on your machine and are routinely cleared by the App itself during its cleanup cycles.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
