CarePlus Clinic - Patient Records & Rx ("the Application") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of medical practitioners, clinic staff, and patient health data. This Privacy Policy outlines our privacy standards and data handling practices.

1. 100% OFFLINE LOCAL DATA STORAGE

• All patient demographics, clinical notes, diagnosis records, medical histories, and prescription data generated within the Application are stored strictly locally on your Windows desktop/laptop device in an offline SQLite database.

• The Application operates completely offline and does not require an active internet connection to perform daily clinic operations.

2. ZERO CLOUD TRANSMISSION & ZERO DATA COLLECTION

• We DO NOT collect, harvest, upload, or transmit any personal identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI) to remote cloud servers, third-party analytics services, or external database systems.

• No tracking telemetry or user behavior monitoring scripts are embedded in the Application.

3. DATA OWNERSHIP & CLINIC CONTROL

• The clinic management and practicing doctors retain 100% sole ownership and complete physical control over all clinic databases and patient files stored on their hardware.

• Built-in 1-click database backup and restore functionalities save encrypted copies strictly to user-selected local or external USB storage locations chosen by the clinic.

4. THIRD-PARTY SHARING

• Because all data remains localized on the user's computer, CarePlus Clinic never sells, leases, licenses, or shares patient health records or doctor profiles with any third parties, advertisers, or cloud brokers.

5. SECURITY COMPLIANCE

• The Application adheres to local offline software privacy best practices (aligned with DISHA guidelines for digital health records in India and HIPAA privacy principles for localized medical software).
